Previously worked as an FX Lead with Paprikaas Interactive, now known as Technicolor India. I was handling a team of 20 people and had delivered around 800 shots for 10 Episodes.
I was supervising "Back at the Barnyard" series, as an FX Lead, that grabbed an Emmy award for the "Outstanding Special class Animated program", on August 29, 2009.
I was solving the Technical issues related to FX from all departments - FX, Compositing and Lighting. Also, I was creating Presets which can be used by everyone for maintaining consistency and faster outputs. I was implementing new softwares and Plugins for faster and better outputs. Also, I made sure that we deleivered Quality output in time.
I was also doing R&D on these softwares and plugins for faster and better outputs -
- The Rayfire tool for rigid body simulations.
- The DMM plugin for Maya.
- Thinking particles for C4D.
- Houdini, for Excellent visual FX.
- Massive, for crowd simulation.
I have Strong sense in achieving natural phenomena like effects such as - Fire, smoke, water; and character fx like Hair, Fur, Cloth, Crowd.
I am good in Technical problem solving.
I have sound knowledge in preparing shaders and Rendering in Render man, Mental ray and Maya.
I also have good working knowledge on Real flow, Shave and hair cut, Syflex, Ncloth, Particle systems, Rigid / Soft body dynamics, Expressions, MEL Scripts and Real flow python scripts.
I have done R&D on Massive and have produced a crowd with 2000 agents. Also conducted a seminar for all the Department heads on Massive.
I have 8 years of production experience in this field working in various CG as well as live action bollywood movie like "Drona", "Alladin", and a Hollywood movie "Blood".
